Online registration is *not* required to attend this workshop. Spots will be assigned on a first-come first-served basis, so make sure to be at the workshop location at least 20 minutes before the starting time.
During this 2-hour flash workshop the participants come up with ideas and evolve them into concrete concepts for an immersive art piece. The participants have a chance to submit their concept for Opera Beyond initiative and compete for a 75.000€ production budget to make their concept a reality.
The workshop will teach you new methods for the ideation and development phases of your future projects, and equip you with templates and exercises that tackle artistic and technical aspects of your idea.
Opera Beyond is an immersive journey by the Finnish National Opera and Ballet. Expanding over many years, the project will produce several immersive art experiences and explore the role of emerging technology in performing arts.
