If you are interested in serious games, and how tabletop games can be used to explore new ways of democracy and address urgent societal challenges, this is the workshop for you!

Politics of Nature (PoN) was conceived to explore how the political philosophy of Bruno Latour (by the same name – Politics of Nature) could work in practice, by making a game. It mixes various disciplines and technologies from meditation over ecological modelling to virtual reality.

At A MAZE we address water security challenges in South Africa and Cape Town, where this version of PoN, shown at A MAZE, was developed, played and evaluated.

PoN makes diverse groups of people cooperate, not in spite of their differences, but because of them!

Note: this is part one of two workshops about Politics of Nature at A MAZE. You can take part in just one or in both instances.
