Come to this Working Group to discuss issues of representations, story, narrative, and its relationship with game mechanics; reflect on the past, present and what you see for the future; facilitated by award-winning media critic Anita Sarkeesian.
Some sample topics to be discussed: - How, if at all, has representation in gaming changed in the last 10 years? - What do you see as the next major hurdle for games to overcome in the next 10 years? - What obstacles might get in the way of that? - What do you envision for the future of games? - What impact will new platforms (Stadia, Apple Arcade), or new technologies (hardware, consoles, Mixed Reality) have on the future of games?
